3D Printed Sculpture • ZBrush, Maya, Fusion 360 • 2022
Using ZBrush, Maya, and Fusion 360, I created a 3D printed and hand-painted sculpture of Jiji from Kiki’s Delivery Service. This project showcases my skills in 3D modeling, precision printing, and artistic finishing, making complex designs accessible and replicable for hobbyists.

The Process 🛠️
The first step was to create the 3D model. My design is loosely based on a model by the creator PatrickFanart.
The primary goal of this project was to create a high-quality sculpture that is easily replicable. I wanted to ensure that anyone with a 3D printer and a bit of patience could enjoy their very own Jiji.
To achieve this I seperated the model into parts by color, this to make sure that the seperation between colors are as crisp as possible.
The seperation is also good for 3D printing as printing is not 100% failiure proof and when one small part fails it's much easier to print then one bog sculptur.
Finally I sanded and hand-painting the 3D model. I used an airbrush and miniature paints to give Jiji the depth and vibrancy that fans of Kiki’s Delivery Service would instantly recognize 🎨
